Baofeng bf-888s
Bought these for emergency communication when the mobile phones don't work. Have seen and heard a lot about Baofeng and they seem to have become a standard radio, so I thought I'd try these cheap ones and see if it works.
Tested them at a distance of 2 kilometers with trees in between and it worked well, So I'm happy with them for the price of 15 Euros for a two-pack.
What I miss was that it was not possible to get the weather radio on the FM band. But have read that Baofeng uv-5r has that option and is compatible with Baofeng bf-888s. So I will have to buy one in the future as well.
